Macklemore

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

Because I was on a Macklemore concert in Stuttgart recently I want to write a bit about this artist here.

Macklemore has become really famous this year. I loved his music before
3 years al little one knew him but it seems he may well deal with the fame. The show in Stuttgart was fantastic. I've never been on such a good concert. Macklemore is committed to policy themes (Gay Marriage) and speaks at his concerts about his drug past. What excited me the most was that he raps live as well as on his albums. To sum it up, Macklemore is one of the best artists of the world. I hope he will soon publish a new album.  <3

I was standing right in front of the stage. : D

Do you like Techno? I do!
This song is an Remix  of Milky Chance-Down By The River, made by the german Dj´s Markus Spitta and Niklas Ibach. I love this track. Have fun:

The original song is also great and I will not deny it to you:

What do you think? Could the original be topped by the remix?

The Pierces

Still love this song. Reminds me of "gossip girl". I miss this series. Especially Chuck Bass (no homo)

The Pierces

The last hit of the two sisters was "You'll be mine", a beautiful song but I think "Secret" is not to be outdone. I thought they wanted to release a new album this year. Let us look forward to the things yet to come?

Tom Odell

Tom Odell is next. What a beautiful voice.

Tom Odell

A better start in 2013, one can not hope: On 10 January, the singer / songwriter Tom Odell was awarded with the extremely coveted Brits' Critics Choice Award, which he took from the hands of the previous year's winner Emeli Sande. In addition, he was one of the 15 candidates in the highly acclaimed recorded BBC "Sound of 2013" list. The 22-year-old Tom Odell, writes since he was 13 Age his own songs. He grew up in southern England Chichester and moved to Brighton where he studied at the Institute of Modern Music later. "I have a year long uninterrupted songs written," he recalls, "I went with a huge keyboard by Brighton and went all over the city at open mic nights. This was on the one hand extremely demoralizing for me, but it has done me very well. " After pop star Lily Allen had taken him with her label "In The Name Of" under contract, Tom made his television debut in the legendary television show" Later ... with Jools Holland ". His debut album was released in April. In recent months, he toured with Jake Bugg and entered the opening act for Michael Kiwanuka in London.

Becky G

Now Hip Hop :)

Becky G - Turn the Music up

Becky G, or Rebecca Marie Gomez is just 15 years old and Already worked together with will.i.am. She grew up on the streets of LA, though she's still growing. She began her career with the example of YouTube covers Justin Bieber and Jenniver Lopez (usually better than the original).
At first, I was Reminded of Nicki Minaj, but how can you not be Reminded of the most popular female rapper in this decade? After I'd given most of her other songs a listen, I saw a little bit of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, something about her spunky attitude. And the fact did she cares enough about the people in her world to talk about them in her music. My favorite song so far is "Turn Up the Music." She talks about her roots, her family and the Latino community, and I think it's cool When people, especially young women, rap about how are proud they of their Heritage.

"I´m so mejico, no pavement, dirt roads
I walked those and I finally made it
This is  my granfather who came
without a penny, now I´m rapin ´bout my shoe game
Let me check myself, everybidy need that
Grandma listen to my records but she doesn´t speak that"

Haim

With Haim we go on, I think 2013 will be their year.

Haim - Falling
This band consists of three sisters. The girls are heavily supported by major label Polydor and Jay-Z's Roc Nation management firm. In the BBC's prognosis "Sound of 2013" them was predicted the breakthrough for the following year. Among 15 nominees they were ranked first Also on MTV, they were one of the favorites for 2013.
The result is a wonderfully wistful jam, which, regardless of the machine behind them, makes Haim one of the most exciting pop acts for 2013, and the music video is really cool.
I think we will hear much more from them.
